On behalf of the entire USNA class of 1965 and our class president, Peter Gness, I want to thank you and your fine organization for providing exceptional transportation service for our 40th reunion. We conducted a straw poll of classmates who participated and the bus transportation was consistantly cited as "outstanding!
Lloyd Abbot, USNA Class of 1965 reunion
Over 3000 excited alumni converged on Annapolis expecting to celebrate their respective reunions with their classmates and instead were greeted with many unexpected cancellations and changes in the aftermath of the storm. Although the scheduled events seemed to be literally drowned, your quick thinking and follow-through saved 1953's reunion.
George P. Watt, Jr., U.S. Naval Academy Alumni Association
On behalf of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, I want to thank you for the wonderful service provided to us during our recent Board of Governors meeting. Your drivers, Dee and Lou, were very professional, courteous, and a pleasure to work with. We really appreciated their efforts and hard work.
Jacqueline A. Barnes, Meetings Coordinator, Meetings & Conventions Department, ATLA
Thank you so much for helping to make our national conference a success. Your patience and flexibility with us while planning our school visit allowed us to transport participants to each of the schools, while staying within our budget.
Rebecca A. Schou, Field Director, Mid-Atlantic Region, Expeditionary Learning Outward Bound
Our program relies greatly on a dependable transportation system, which your staff provided to us. The flexibility and cooperation by you and your staff helped make this summer playground experience a great success.
Theresa A. Howard, Assistant Supervisor of Summer Playgrounds
We received your tremendous gift of 4 hours service- in mini-coach for 25 valued at $340.00. On behalf of the Board of Directors, faculty and staff, and especially the students, thank you for your generosity.
Your donation will be used as an item in our auction at our Gala that will take place on Saturday, May 7, 2005. Our event will raise money for the Building Fund for our Student Activity Center. This facility houses our art studio, music room and gymnasium. It is enjoyed daily by our students, faculty, and members of the greater community. It is through the support of people like you that The Summit School is able to offer the best in educational opportunities for children with dyslexia and other learning differences.
We do realize that area businesses are frequently asked for donations and we truly appreciate your choosing to support The Summit School. It means a great deal to all the members of the Summit family.
Donna Sage, Development Director, The Summit School
Thank you for arranging the transportation for our National Conference optional activity day, as well as ground transport for the guests. The transportation for the optional day went very smoothly. If we are ever in Annapolis again, we will be sure to use your service again.
Leslie Hansen, Professional Development Planner, Expeditionary Learning Outward Bound
Your employees were cheerful, courteous, helpful and caring. Your services were provided under difficult circumstances caused by the highly elevated security requirements instituted at the U.S Navel Academy following the terrorist attack. Your familiarity with the Navel Academy security and other local knowledge was of immeasurable help. Classmates commented that they had never seen so many buses (running on time) in their lives.
Worthy of note is that you did all this at the prices we had mutually agreed to almost a year before.
William T. Marin, Captain USN, Transportation Coordinator Class of 1951, Fiftieth Reunion
The bus transportation for our 10th reunion was outstanding. You took the worry out of being the transportation co-ordinator by careful planning to cover all possibilities. We received many positive comments from our classmates concerning the bus transportation.
E.B. Rogers III, USNA ’77 Reunion Committee
Your buses were neat and comfortable and above all, were there whenever we needed them. Both drivers were not only excellent drivers who knew exactly where to go and the best way to get there, but they were extremely friendly and helpful as well.
William I. Bull, President, Class of 1932
Your team was absolutely wonderful. Everything went off without a hitch. The buses were everywhere and right when they were needed. It sure was easy for me and I accepted many compliments for the job you and your people did. WELL DONE!!
Ed McLean, U.S Navel Academy, Class of 1950 Reunion
Your coordination of different times, numbers of buses, destinations and older travelers is deeply appreciated. So many details, and you were on top of everything. Several of my colleagues mentioned how pleasant the drivers were.
Svend Thomas, U.S Navel Academy, Class of 1952
Your staff was especially responsive to our unexpected requirement for support of a member in a wheelchair. Without exception, your drivers were professional, courteous, wonderfully friendly and helpful to us all. The buses were clean and comfortable. Everything ran on schedule.
John Hyatt, Marine Corps Cryptologic Association
Your personal attention and the friendly, courteous, and efficient service of your drivers insured that we had a smooth running operation. Your people made such a fine impression that Annapolis Bus Company drew nothing but praise from a group who normally expects the best and severely criticizes anything less. As far as I know, you are the first organization to receive such acclaim.
Ralph M. Ghormley, Read Admiral, U.S. Navy, President, USNA Class of 1949
The 800 members and wives of the Class of 1947 were unanimous in their praise of the outstanding bus service rendered by you and your drivers. I quote from a letter of appreciation: ‘Not once did I step out of the hotel, to go to an event on the schedule, that I did not find a bus waiting for me.’ Classmates were also unanimous in their praise for the intelligence, good humor, and skill of your drivers
Chester H. Shaddeau, Jr, Transportation Chairman, USNA Class of 1947
Thank you so much for providing shuttle service to Anne Arundel Medical Center employees on April 6, 2005. As a result of your providing two shuttles to employees, we were able to move employee parking for the day to open up the space needed to host the nationwide GE Women’s Health and Wellness Tour. This event brought more than 800 people to AAMC, where hundreds of free EKG, cholesterol, blook pressure and bone density screenings were performed.
The flexibility of your drivers to offer a pickup at the Stanton Center (although underutilized), and willingness to end one shuttle’s service three hours early with no advance notice, demonstrates a level of customer service for which I am quite grateful. I look forward to working with you and Annapolis Bus Company again.
Without your shuttle support, we would have had no space to hold the event. I am appreciative of your important role in our community’s health and wellness.
Michelle Ross, Public Relations Representative, Anne Arundel Medical Center
I just want to thank you for your help in making our son’s wedding a memorable one. Thanks for working with us with all the last minute changes also... It all worked out!
All of our guests were very appreciative of the transportation provided for them…it was great!
Joanne O’Brien, Mother of the Groom
